So 2010 is upon us and is sure to be another exciting year in the world of motorcycling!
Learner riders should be jumping for joy as Yamaha has finally brought the ever popular YZF-R125 to Australia.
The 125 has a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single cylinder, SOHC engine that revs to 9000rpm  and is complemented by a full sized twin spar Deltabox chassis and an aluminium swingarm.
33mm forks take care of the bouncy stuff and excess speed is washed off with a 292mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear.
There are also plenty of accessories such as a double bubble screen, a yoke, a seat cover, roller protectors and a tank pad, giving owners a chance to customize their bikes.
While only a small machine, the YZF-R125 looks the goods and in the Learner game where big bike performance is not yet a concern, there is plenty of street cred to make up for it!
